Where is Amari?

The Aegean Sea, bounded by the peninsular of Greece on the west, the mountains of Macedonia on the north, and the coast of Anatolia on the east, is studded with numerous stunning islands. To the south is the largest island, Crete. The Valley of Amari lies almost at the center of this island, and the village is fifty minutes south from Rethymnon, the capital of the prefecture. Rethymnon is about an hour away from the airports of Chania and Heraklion.
